Essential information on the security of your information, photographic permissions and Gift Aid

 

1. How your data is kept safe

When you complete the online form we will ask for your consent to use your information in the following ways:

To store it securely for membership purposes

To communicate with you as a u3a member

To send you general information about the Third Age Trust (the national organisation to which u3as are affiliated) 

It will never be shared with any other parties without your explicit consent

 

2. Your image in print and online

Occasionally your image may appear in a group photo, and it is very helpful for us to include such photos in our magazine 'Good Times' and on our website.  We will not identify individuals in any photographs. 

 

3. Full text of Gift Aid Declaration to Preston and District u3a Registered Charity Number 1141371
I want to Gift Aid my current donation and any donations I may make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to Preston & District u3a. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I will notify Preston & District u3a of any change in my personal circumstances, such as name and address, or that I no longer pay UK Income or Capital Gains tax or I wish to cancel the declaration. 
Please treat as a Gift Aid donation my membership subscription to Preston and District u3a. I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax the current tax year that is at least equal to the amount of tax, that all the charities I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes like VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.

 

Please notify Preston and District u3a if you want to cancel this declaration, change your name and home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and or capital gains.
